Just for Fun!

Ever wonder what it would be like to take a cruise in 15 to 20 ft seas?? Well, here is a sneak peek. This is some video I captured on Sunday in the middle of the Atlantic. I still feel like I am on the ship!

We had such a great time filming Michelle and Ken's gorgeous city wedding. The ceremony was at St. Cecilia's Church in Boston's Back Bay and the couple chose to have their reception at our new favorite venue; the chic Harvard Club of Boston. All of the details were absolutely stunning as you will see below!

The couple was so happy and they were surrounded by the love and joy of their beautiful families and HILARIOUS bridal party. There were so many amazing and touching moments throughout the day from a touching letter from Ken that almost brought Michelle to tears, to Michelle surprising Ken at the ceremony with an awesome bagpipe player (Ken's favorite! ) it was a wonderful event.

Ken & Michelle thank you, I am truly grateful that you decided to include us in your wedding celebration!

Katrina + Matt

Undoubtedly, we have never seen an entrance quite like this :) Katrina & Matt were so fun and were all smiles all day long. We are so happy for you, we know you will have a life full of love and big smiles!

Sandra + John

The sun slowly faded across the sky to reveal the most breathtaking views of Boston in the distance. John and Sandra snuck away from their rockin' reception at the Granite Links Golf Club to capture this magic moment on film. We had such a great time filming, the event was just gorgeous and everything went off without a hitch. Thank you so much for the honor of capturing this special day!

We feel so blessed that we have been able to work with so many wonderful couples who are looking for something more artistic and cinematic to capture their wedding day. THANK YOU!

The ALL NEW Vignette is on the way. We have so many new and amazing things planned. I can hardly wait!

And the winner is....

Wow we received so many entries, stories from brides, grooms, parents and friends with wedding locations from all over including Maine, New Hampshire and Rhode Island! Unfortunately, several of the dates we were already booked.

I was so touched by ALL the entries, I wish I could shoot all of them! My hope is to make this an annual contest.

One of the things we really loved about the winner, was that she told us that if there was a couple we thought was more deserving we should choose them over her. That selflessness made us love her story even more!

We are SO excited. We can't wait to work with Ella and Kyle in November!

Thanks to our amazing clients, we have been able to document and be a part of so many incredible events over the last few years. I am so grateful that I am now at a point where we can give back.

Lan + John

On June 9th, Lan and John tied the knot at the gorgeous Church of Saint Ignatius of Loyola at Boston College where Lan attended Law school. Lan has such a vivacious personality that everyone around her was beaming all day especially John!

New Addition!

Hi, my name is Melissa and I am an Apple addict. Meet the newest addition to our family - my new baby, the G5 Tower and 20inch Widescreen Cinema display! Yes, I am a nerd.

For all you nerdy types like me it has 3.00 GHz Dual-Core Intel Xeon and 4GB of memory and 2.5 terabytes of storage, yowzah! She will be joining all of her many brothers and sisters in my studio very shortly.

On Saturday we had the pleasure of attending Katrina and Matt's wedding at Cyprian Keyes Golf Club. What a fun wedding! Katrina put so much thought into every detail and it was all worth it, everything was breathtaking.

Short Circuit

I have just been notified by mac that our old blog has been shut down temporarily due to too much traffic, which in some ways is actually a good thing! I LOVE that we are getting a lot of traffic and will come up with an alternative to get Heather & Matt's clip back on the new blog shortly. The old blog will be back up on August 1st.

Pink Clouds!

I just had to post this, Jeremy took this absolutely incredible photograph on Saturday night. I just love the way you can see the reflection in the water and the I especially love the pink clouds!

It's Only You

"Who else would dance with me in the middle of the grocery store aisle or sing to me because I can't sleep? It's only you. "

On April 14th, we had the distinct pleasure of filming Heather and Matt's wedding and we had an amazing time.

Matt's smile could light up a stadium when he first saw Heather in her wedding dress. She looked absolutely gorgeous. They were so affectionate and playful it was immediately obvious that they are the best of friends and will have an awesome life together. Their families and friends were so warm and engaging and the entire event was perfect. The historic setting of Salem, and the Peabody Essex Museum was a cinematic dream. Here is a clip from the "getting ready" part of the day.

Brides Magazine

As a magazine junkie, I nearly fell over when I saw Condé Nast on my caller ID the other day! Condé Nast are the publishers of Vanity Fair, Vogue, Elegant Weddings, Brides, Lucky... the list goes on and on.

Brides magazine wanted to interview us about Vignette and the benefits of shooting a wedding in Super 8mm. I am so grateful that I get do what I love everyday and I am so excited to share our love of Super 8 with the world! I will post info about our interview soon.
